Another, well made piece by Fleece Performance, for my 2004 gmc sierra 2500hd ccsb lb7. Why do I say that this is another well made piece you may ask, well let me tell ya. The engineering thought that went into this turbo horn was well thought out, for the simple fact that they made key ways in the bottom 2 bolt holes instead of fighting trying to put the bottom bolts into a regular hole like the original, anyone that has changed a turbo horn out on a lb7 knows what I mean, the 2 bottom bolts can be a bear to get at, and there is a good possibility ofloosing a bolt down in the bottom of engine because it is a tight spot. Not with the Fleece turbo horn though all you do I put your gasket on put the 2 bottom bolts in thier holes and leave them loose enough so u can slide you new turbo horn into place then you put your top one in and torque them all down. Easy peasy, the turbo whistle is more prominent now and there is a better spool and better pedal response, my truck just feels better and more responsive.
Fits holley retro oil pan as it should. No issues.
Love the sound of the new K&N CAI, can definitely feel the bottom end torque and added HP. Well worth the buy for my 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2.4L AWC.
No complaints easy to install bought about 9 months ago for my 03 Chevy 1500. 9 months later works as I would expected
Added is my before and after
Self installed with no issues. Gaskets are a little tricky, just take your time.
Car is running about 200 rpm lower than with standard air filter and fuel economy has improved by 1 mpg on average
