But we can make it better. Even without a turbo  the FA24 is just begging for more air. Luckily  the intake system on the FA24D is simple  with just one tube connecting the airbox to the throttle.----The stock induction hose is rubber and utilizes a corrugated section to allow it to flex. That corrugation causes turbulence and drastically slows the airflow into the engine  robbing power. Rubber in the engine bay is also notorious for becoming brittle and cracking over time  especially rubber that flexes every time you punch the throttle. Those cracks lead to vacuum leaks after the MAF sensor that can cause check-engine lights  misfires  and reduced power.----To solve these issues  we?ve replaced the stock corrugated rubber hose with a smooth silicone piece. Our 2022+ BRZ\/GR86 induction hose features a 3-inch inner diameter that transitions seamlessly from the airbox to the throttle to eliminate turbulence and improve airflow.
