With a greater bleed rate, these Hi-Tech hydraulic lifters for Ford 289-351W, 429-460 and 351C-400M increase engine vacuum and throttle response for hot street and racing applications.
Hi-Tech(TM) Hydraulic Lifters have a greater bleed rate, which greatly increases vacuum, throttle response and noise. Hi-Tech(TM) Lifters were designed primarily for extremely hot street machines or racing applications where a vacuum rule is in place or where you must run a hydraulic cam.
