Full Synthetic MTL 70W80 GL-4 Gear Oil (1 quart) has Vis@100°C= 10.4 CSt, Vis@40°C= 50.8 CSt, Viscosity Index= 201, SAE Viscosity Grade= 75W80 (gear oil ) & 5W30 (motor oil), gear & synchro protection, & balanced slipperiness.
Since most GL-5 gear oils for differentials are too slippery for manual transmissions, Red Line offers these products that ensure proper shifting while providing ultimate wear protection. Red Line offers lubricants to pinpoint nearly every transmission application. This Full Synthetic MTL 70W80 GL-4 Gear Oil is compatible with petroleum's and other synthetics. MTL, MT-85, & MT-90 are not for use in differentials with hypoid gears. This product is popular for BMW, Honda/Acura, Ford Focus, late-model Mini Cooper, Land Rover/Range Rover LT77S, Dodge & Jeep NV1500, NV3500 , NV3550, and NV5600 truck transmissions.
