Synthetic 5W20 Motor Oil has Vis @ 100°C = 9.0 CSt, Vis @ 40°C = 53 CSt, Viscosity Index = 147, wear protection/less friction, fuel economy, high temp stability/oxidation resistance, less evaporation, & polyol ester base stock blend.
Red Line 5W20 Motor Oil is recommended for Chrysler, Ford WSS-M2C945-A, Acura/Honda, Mazda and Scion. It has thicker oil film at operating temperature than a petroleum 5W30 or 10W30 and is recommended for API SN/SM/SL/SJ/SH/SG/CF and ACEA A5/B5. It also has a fully-synthetic ester formula for passenger cars, light trucks, performance vehicles, and marine applications. This formula is designed to provide the highest protection, efficiency, cleanliness, and superior drain intervals and has excellent wear protection and friction reduction across a wide range of operating conditions. The high detergency allows extended drain intervals and provides increased cleanliness, while improved fuel economy and ring seal allow for more power. The superior high temperature stability and oxidation resistance increases lubrication of hot metal compared to other synthetics. This formula is also blended with polyol ester base stocks that feature natural multi-grade properties, avoiding unnecessary additives that hinder lubricity. Ford and Honda started this fuel efficient trend, Red Line improved it. Produced in only one top-of-the-line grade, these products offer the highest quality available on the market today and in the widest variety of viscosity. All products are completely compatible with other conventional and synthetic motor oils.
