The AIRAID 400-241 retro fit kit allows you to add a heat shield to your existing 400-109, 401-109 or 402-109 AIRAID Classic Performance Air Intake to help block engine heat and funnel in cooler outside air. The heat shield panels mount in the factory air box location and utilize any factory cold air inlet ducts that are present. The panels keep the filter isolated from the hot engine compartment air by sealing to the underside of the hood via blade-style weather stripping.
