This replacement plastic valve cover fits 81-83 CJ5, 81-86 CJ7, 81-86 CJ8 Scrambler, 87 Wrangler YJ and 81-87 Cherokee/Grand Wagoneer SJ models equipped with 4.2 liter engines. For use with studded rocker bridges only, unless purchasing (2) 17402.08 and (2) 17408.12. For valve cover gasket, use 17447.03. Replaces OE 83501398
