The Evaporator Skid Plate is constructed of durable 3/16 inch thick black powder coated steel, and mounts to existing body holes with factory hardware. It transfers the load of an impact away from evaporator tank and to the frame and cross member. Rugged Ridge offers a wide variety of skid plates and body protection for Wrangler. You can wheel with confidence knowing these skid plates will keep you from getting hung up on rocks, trail obstacles, while preventing damage to critical components.
