A two-camera system

Cobra's DASH 2316D camera system includes two cameras: one to record the road ahead in 1080p mode with a 160-degree wide angle view, while the second camera records the road behind you in 720p with a 130-degree view. With adhesive-backed mounts and a 12-volt power plug to power both cams, Cobra prioritizes easy installation. Once powered, you'll see a selectable split-screen view to simultaneously monitor video from both feeds. And if you'd prefer, use your second cam to keep an eye on the backseat rather than your rear view.

Cobra made its DASH 2316D dash cam with Bluetooth for easy integration with your smartphone. Using data from your phone, this cam can geo-tag your footage with time, date, location, and speed information. Additionally, your live connection with Cobra's online iRadar community will give you a heads-up if speed cameras, red light cameras, or live police locations are in play nearby. And if you make a discovery of your own, you can add it to iRadar.

Enhanced with driver assistance

The dash cam doesn't just record the road ahead, it monitors it as well to help you steer clear of accidents. With both Forward Collision and Lane Departure alerts built-in, Cobra equips you to drive more safely.

Mount it in a convenient spot

The compact DASH 2316D cameras and their adhesive-backed mounts mean you can strategically secure them where they won't crowd your field of vision. Installation is simple thanks to a 12-volt car adapter, and with a 16GB memory card included, these cameras ready to use right out of the box.

The fully automated camera will start recording once the engine is turned on and it'll stop when the engine is turned off. And if you'd like higher video resolution from your dash cam footage, disconnect your second camera to access up to 1296p resolution in the dash cam.

Just in case

If you're involved in an accident, the DASH 2316D's built-in G-Sensor will detect sudden acceleration or a collision, then save the critical footage. An integrated microphone allows audio recording capability, and the cam features photo capability and a 2" LCD display to ensure you get the shot you need.
