LIGHTENED FLYWHEEL;Dinan Lightweight Dual-Mass Flywheel - 2000-2003 BMW M5/Z8;E39/E52;The relatively heavy factory dual-mass flywheel has been lightened in order to reduce rotational inertia for faster acceleration and throttle response. The Flywheel is 7 lbs lighter than stock, reducing overall weight by 18%. By eliminating the weight in the appropriate areas of the flywheel, rotational inertia is reduced by 40%. The Flywheel has been designed to work in conjunction with the stock pressure plate and disc.
