Mike from our JB’s Power Centre South Edmonton team recently completed a smart upgrade on this 2019 Ram 3500 equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Diesel. These engines, found in Ram trucks from 2007.5 through 2024, are well-known for their durability — but the OEM grid heater is a documented failure point, and when it fails, it can cause severe, irreparable engine damage.

To eliminate that risk, we installed the BD Diesel Grid Heater Upgrade Kit (PN #1041520), a proven, performance-engineered solution that removes the weak points of the stock design and provides long-term peace of mind.
