Landon and our team at JB’s Power Centre South Edmonton just wrapped up another pair of serious towing and recovery builds for a long-time client — bringing us to truck #3 and #4 outfitted for them this year.

Both 2024 Ford F-350s received a powerhouse setup featuring:
• Warn 16.5ti Winch (PN WAR68801) – a massive 16,500 lb pulling capacity
• Westin Winch Tray (PN 46-23905)
• Westin Tow Hook Add-On (PN 46-3005)
During the build, we encountered a challenge: the Westin trays didn’t include all three mounting points required to properly support the large 16.5k Warn winch.

So our team got to work. To ensure a perfect fit and maximum strength, we:
🔸 Built 1/4" wood mockup templates to map out the exact geometry
🔸 Transferred the design to 1/4" steel plate for structural reinforcement
🔸 Welded everything in-house for a factory-level finish
🔸 Coated the entire winch tray and plates with Raptor Liner for long-term durability and corrosion protection

And the final stress test? We pulled both trucks toward each other with their e-brakes engaged — neither tray moved an inch. That’s the level of confidence we build into every install. 💯
