A six-year, $20,000 labor of love, this one-of-a-kind build features a custom-engineered manual transmission swap — complete with a billet adapter plate, modified Nissan gearbox, C5 Corvette slave cylinder, and custom driveshaft — on a platform that never came with a stick shift from the factory, with a 450–500whp head build still to come.

Long story short this was my first car that i refuse to let die. These cars were never offered with a manual transmission so i decided to get creative, about 6 years and $20,000 later it is all exactly how i want it besides for the engine. I had to use a custom machined billet adapter plate, cut the bellhousing off of the Nissan transmission and use the adapter to bolt my factory 2JZ bellhousing up to the trans. Then found a way to attach a C5 corvette slave and had to get a custom driveshaft made. Next step for the car it to build the head and hopefully make 450-500 wheel horsepower.
