A rare, mostly original 1960s Oldsmobile with just 72,000 miles, rescued from years of sitting in Drumheller and acquired through a lucky trade — now being brought back to life while keeping its unique B-body/A-body hybrid character intact.

"This car had been parked for many years in the Drumheller area. A customer of mine had bought it as part of a lot of cars — at the time I had built a small block and TH350 for my '60 Pontiac, but the body on the Pontiac was thrashed. I jokingly offered a trade for the Olds, and he went for it. The car was all original when I got it, and it still mostly is — 72,000 original miles and the interior is in killer shape. 330 Olds engine, ST300 trans. Pretty oddball model of B-body, as it shares a ton of parts with an A-body."
