This Melling kit pairs a complete timing chain set with a new water pump, so both jobs get done while the front of the engine is apart. The timing set supplies the chain and sprockets, plus tensioner and guides where the application needs them, and the Melling water pump is engineered and assembled from quality materials and individually leak tested. Buying the timing set and water pump together saves labour and helps prevent a second teardown later.
