Permatex Red High Temperature 272 Threadlocker, 36ml Bottle

Details:

OEM specified. High temperature/high strength threadlocker for heavy-duty applications. Prevents bolts and press fits 3/8" to 1-1/2" (10mm to 38mm) from loosening due to shock, severe vibration and heat stress. Exclusive formulation for newer engines and high performance applications that require extreme temperature resistance. Suited for temperatures up to 450F (232C). Removable with heat and hand tools.

Automobile

Suggested Applications:Camshaft sprocket bolts, crankshaft bolts, idler bearings, press fit filler tubes, transmission input and output shaft threads, ring gear or shock bolts

Marine

Suggested Applications:Camshaft sprocket bolts, crankshaft bolts, idler bearings, press fit filler tubes, transmission input and output shaft threads, ring gear bolts

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Clean and dry parts using Permatex Surface Prepactivator.
  2. Shake bottle of High Temperature Threadlocker Red well before each use.
  3. Remove cap and snip nozzle tip.
  4. Apply Threadlocker to threaded areas and assemble parts. Refer to Technical Data Sheet for complete information.

NOTE: Threadlocker works on metal parts. It is not recommended for plastics. Cured Threadlocker must be heated to 500 to 600F (260 to 316C) before parts will separate.
