Permatex MotoSeal 1 2-Cycle / 4-Cycle Gasket Maker, 80ml Tube

38401

Details:

For two and four cycle engines. Solvent-based bond fully seals within 20 minutes. Forms a tough flexible bond that is highly effective on irregular and uneven joint surfaces. Resists gasoline and other damaging fluids. Withstands temperatures 350F (177C) continuous, 400F (204C) intermittent.

Application:

Automobile

Suggested Applications:Transmission case halves, valve covers, center and end covers (transmissions), crank case halves, cam covers, timing chain cases, primary drives, side covers, and clutch housings.

Motorcycle

Suggested Applications:Case halves, carburetor gaskets

Instruction:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Make sure that surfaces to be sealed are clean and oil free.
  2. Apply a continuous bead of MotoSeal1 to both surfaces of parts to be sealed.
  3. Smooth material with small brush.
  4. Wait about one (1) minute then mate parts together.
  5. Bolt parts using normal torque specifications.
