This connecting rod vise is ideal for holding one or more aluminum or steel connecting rods. Connecting rods can be tough to hold securely without damage when removing the caps, replacing bolts, torquing the bolts, checking rod clearances, beam polishing, or during machining. This vice can be permanently bench mounted or used with a shop vice.
