For applications that have a Chevrolet 350/Chrysler 360 journal diameter (1.968" on journals 1-5), this roller cam bearing set is steel jacketed and decreases friction while also closely controlling oil.
The latest technology in racing engines includes larger diameter cam journals and needle bearings. COMP Cams now offers these sometimes hard-to-find bearings in complete sets or as individual bearings. Not only will these bearings decrease friction, but they will also hold oil control much more closely. These bearings are steel jacketed and encapsulated for ease of installation. The cams must be ordered with the correct bearing journal diameters.
