This Garrett vane position solenoid controls the variable vanes in a variable geometry turbocharger, adjusting exhaust flow over the turbine to manage boost. A failing solenoid can cause low boost, overboost or warning lights, and replacing it restores proper turbo control. It is a new Garrett part, fit, form and function tested to meet or exceed original equipment standards.
