This Heavy Duty, Standard Volume Race Oil Pump for SBC has a 5/8 Inlet, more material, & thicker neck area than standard pumps. It provides benefits of stronger casting at an affordable price.
Due to these SBC oil pumps having more material and being thicker in the neck area, we like to call these oil pumps our “Tough Neck” series of oil pumps. These are the same oil pumps that we use in our Small Block Chevy welded together Oil Pump/Pickup combinations. These oil pumps have the benefits of the stronger casting yet have the features and price that the racer is looking for.
