This BBK Performance bump stop is shorter than the factory bumpstop and must be used When lowering any 1979-2004 Ford Mustang (exc 99-04 Cobra IRS) This BBK low profile pinion snubber bushing will ensure proper axle travel and prevent the axle bottoming out when lowering springs are installed. It is important to also install a set of BBK offset steering rack bushings to eliminate bump-steer and we also recommend new BBK Spring isolators when installing any lowering spring kit.
