McLeod steel flywheels are perfect for street applications where easy stop-light acceleration is desired. Steel flywheels come in various weights and dimensions. For race applications, a heavier steel unit is ideal for helping launch a heavy car with a smaller engine with less torque and horsepower. They are CNC machined from billet alloy steel and have 1045 hardened steel ring gears.

The McLeod 460122 flywheel is a premium billet steel flywheel designed for Chevrolet Small Block (1955-1985) and Big Block (1970-1990) engines with a 2-piece rear main seal and internal balance configuration. Featuring a durable 1045 steel hardened ring gear, 168-tooth ring gear, and a 22 lb. weight, this flywheel delivers dependable performance and strength for street and racing applications. It is SFI-certified for added safety and quality assurance. Compatible with a wide range of Chevrolet cars, trucks, SUVs, and wagons, including Bel Air, Biscayne, Blazer, Brookwood, and C10 models equipped with various small-block and big-block V8 engines.
