McLeod steel flywheels are perfect for street applications where easy stop-light acceleration is desired. Steel flywheels come in various weights and dimensions. For race applications, a heavier steel unit is ideal for helping launch a heavy car with a smaller engine with less torque and horsepower. They are CNC machined from billet alloy steel and have 1045 hardened steel ring gears.

Performance Flywheel for 1964-2003 Mopar 6-Bolt Crank Engines

This McLeod steel flywheel is designed for Mopar vehicles equipped with 340, 360, 383, or 440 cubic inch engines from 1964 to 2003 using a 6-bolt crankshaft. It features a 130-tooth ring gear, weighs 30 lbs., and is constructed from billet 1045 steel with a hardened ring gear for maximum strength and durability. The flywheel is SFI certified for performance and racing applications. For certain externally balanced engine combinations, counterweight kit 564111 may be required and is sold separately.
