This SFI-5 Multi-Layer Racing Suit is made of a fire-retardant Pyrovatex material that is breathable & wicks moisture. It has a middle layer made of Nomex(R) batting, a Nomex-backed zipper, arm/leg stripes, black accents, & adjustable belt.

The RaceQuip 120 series multi-layer SFI-5 racecar driver's fire suit is made up of an outer layer of durable Pyrovatex® FRC, backed by a layer of Nomex®, then lined by another layer of Pyrovatex®. Note that sometimes these materials are referred to as fireproof, but actually all auto racing safety gear is fire retardant. Pyrovatex® offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability, and comfort for the price. This fire-retardant cotton-based (FRC) material is used for the inner and outer layers because it retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers to create a bond at the molecular level, with proper care, the suit will retain its flame-retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment. The middle layer consists of Nomex(R) batting, which is an inherently fire-retardant aramid fabric. All racing suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, overlock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. All RaceQuip suits feature a high quality, heavy duty Nomex® backed brass zipper on FR tape installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Stylish white armband stripes contrast with the full-length black leg stripes. The black accents: high-back collar, leg and arm cuffs, epaulets, and beltline, give RaceQuip driving suits a unique look and style. Add to this the pleated back panel for freedom of movement, boot cuffs, deep bag pockets, and the adjustable euro-style belt, and you have a multi-layer racing suit that provides an outstanding value. Exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 specs with a TPP rating of 25. Available in Black, Red, or Blue. Manufactured in sizes Small - 3X-Large (refer to sizing chart).
