CURT Aluminum Ball Mount (2" Shank, 8,000 lbs, 2" Drop, 8-1/2" Long)

A CURT ball mount slides into your trailer hitch receiver and carries the trailer ball at the right height for level towing. Adjustable models let you change the drop or rise and swap ball sizes to suit different trailers, and every mount is tested to the SAE J684 towing standard.

Features and Benefits:

  • Rated for up to 8,000 lbs. GTW and 800 lbs. TW
  • Fits trailer hitches with a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening
  • Constructed from solid aluminum to be lightweight and naturally rust-resistant
  • Equipped with a 1" hole to accept a trailer ball shank
  • 1" rise or 2" drop for precise trailer leveling
  • Tested for safety in accordance with SAE J684
  • Trailer ball and hitch pin sold separately
  • Trailer ball torque should not exceed 250 lb-ft
