A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear lift: 4 Inch Block Kit with Add-A-Leaf; shock: NX2 Nitro Series Shocks. Front lift: 6 in (leaf spring). Rear lift: 4.5 in (block, springs). Clears tires up to 36 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 36 x 12.5 tires on 15 x 8 wheels with 3.5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 5 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: The 3/4 ton commonly came with a factory 56" eye to eye rear leaf spring. However, some were produced with a 52" rear spring. If ordering rear leaf springs, be sure to measure your factory rear spring before ordering; If equipped with a factory front sway bar, order the front sway bar shackle link kit listed in the accessories section; #001608 come with OE style rubber bushings installed; Exhaust modification may be required to clear the front driveshaft.
