A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.

This part number is configured with rear axle: Chrysler 8.25; shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks. Front lift: 6.5 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 6 in (leaf spring). Clears tires up to 33 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 33 x 12.5 tires on 15 x 8 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 10 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: Measure the rear u-bolts before ordering. Some XJ's are equipped with a Dana 44 rear axle; CV style rear driveshaft (not included) and slip yoke eliminator kit is required; The system only works with 4.0L motor and automatic transmission; Some welding is required; '96 and earlier models may require a longer emergency brake cable.
