A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with shock: NX2 Nitro Series Shocks. Front lift: 3 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 1 in or 1.5 in (block). Clears tires up to 35 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 35 x 12.5 tires on 17 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 18 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 5 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: Designed for use on diesel models, but can be installed on gas model trucks (will achieve an additional 1/2" front ride height); Larger tires on stock wheels are not recommended due to the brake line clearance required. Use recommended specifications listed in the tire and wheel fitment section; Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs; Due to the taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net the full advertised lift height. The final ride height will be the same as standard models; Some trucks with a rear driveline vibration may have a recall from Ford regarding the rear axle. (Safety Recall 21S31) Due to the recall procedure, BDS recommends having this performed prior to installing the lift; Trucks without top-mounted overload springs require (x4) UBT4031 available to purchase separately; Fits SRW models only.
