A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with front bump stop: Rubber Bump Stop; shock: FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO Shocks. Front lift: 6 in (coil spring, coil-over). Rear lift: 4.5 in (coil spring). Clears tires up to 37 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 37 x 12.5 tires on 17 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 37 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 37 x 13.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5.625 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 7-8 hrs, rated difficult. Installation notes: Will not fit air ride equipped models; Diesel models only; Not designed for PowerWagon models; Some welding required; Must be used with an aftermarket drive shaft due to increased wheel travel; Indexing ring only fits 6 bolt transfer cases (most common).
