A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear lift: 5 Inch Block Kit and Add-A-Leaf; indexing ring: 6 Bolt; shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks. Front lift: 8 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 5 in (block, leaf spring). Clears tires up to 40 x 13.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 40 x 13.5 tires on 17 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 10 hrs, rated difficult. Installation notes: Carrier bearing drop kit will be required for 2-piece rear drive shaft; Some vehicles may require rear driveshaft spacer kit 122007 to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement.
