A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with shock: NX2 Nitro Series Shocks. Front lift: 4 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 3 in (block). Clears tires up to 35 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 37 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5.625 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 7-9 hrs, rated difficult. Installation notes: Fits OE equipped air ride systems only; Exhaust modification is required to clear the front driveshaft. The vehicle can be driven w/o a front driveshaft to an exhaust shop; Vehicles equipped with a Manual T-case, requires BDS122422 Manual transfer case shifter extension; Vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear drive shaft (carrier bearing), require BDS122406 Carrier bearing drop.
