A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Rear Shocks; front shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks. Front lift: 6 in (cross-member). Rear lift: 5 in (block). Clears tires up to 35 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 35 x 12.5 tires on 17 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 6.25 in backspacing; 37 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 6.25 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 8 hrs, rated difficult. Installation notes: Requires frame bracket modification; Factory 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference, stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled; 17" wheels with 4.5" backspacing should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the steering knuckle / tie rod; All aftermarket wheels should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the brake caliper. Some wheel profiles will not clear the brake caliper. These can be test fitted before the vehicle is lifted in a stock condition; Actual ride height on coilover kits is closer to 6.5'' of lift; If equipped with a mono-leaf rear spring, please use part # UBT4064 . (QTY 4 Required); 2.7L Turbo models must use Diesel kit for proper skid plate fitment due to clearance issue with Intercooler pipe; Will not fit models equipped with ARC.
