A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with shock: NX2 Nitro Series Shocks. Front lift: 9 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 8 in (leaf spring). Clears tires up to 40 x 13.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 40 x 13.5 tires on 17 x 10 wheels with 5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 6-8 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: If equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required (BDS123402); 40 x 13.50 tires WILL require trimming; Transfer case indexing ring will not fit 6.2L vehicles equipped with the 6R100 transmission; If your truck is equipped with a factory rear sway bar add: 123009; Indexing ring has not been designed to work on manual shift transfer case models. Modification to the shift cable mount will be required; Fits SRW models only.
