A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Rear Shocks; OE knuckle type: Large Bore. Front lift: 3 in (cross-member). Rear lift: 3 in (coil spring). Clears tires up to 35 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 18 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 8-10 hrs, rated difficult. Installation notes: Fits 4WD models only; Stock 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to steering interference. Stock 20s can be reinstalled with factory tire size; RAMs with factory 22" wheels require the larger bore knuckles due to larger wheel bearing assembly. Reference build code WPM or WPZ; Will NOT fit adjustable "air ride" suspension equipped models; Standard Ram 1500 achieves 4in of lift with this kit. Rebel and Offroad package trucks achieve 3in of lift due to being 1in taller from the factory; Will NOT work on diesel models; Will NOT fit 2019-2022 RAM 1500 Classic models, Refer to the 2018 kit listings; Will NOT fit models equipped with the Thermal Axle option.
