A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear shock: FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Rear Shocks. Front lift: 5 in (coil-over). Rear lift: 4 in (coil spring). Clears tires up to 37 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 37 x 12.5 tires on 18 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 37 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 8-10 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: Fits 4WD models only; Fits models with 3.0L Hurricane I6, 3.6L V6, and 5.7L V8 engines; Stock 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to steering interference; Stock 20s and 22s can be reinstalled with factory tire size; If using 18in aftermarket wheels with 4.5in backspacing, test fit wheels on vehicle before mounting tires to ensure clearance; Bumper Spacer Kit (BDS122004) recommended for additional tire-to-fender clearance. Sold separately; Disconnect BOTH batteries (if equipped), Main and Auxiliary before performing install. Follow procedure in instructions; Will NOT fit adjustable "air ride" suspension equipped models; Will NOT work on diesel models.
