A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear shock: NX2 Nitro Series Rear Shocks. Front lift: 6 in (cross member & strut spacer). Rear lift: 4 in (block). Clears tires up to 37 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 37 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 18 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 8-10 hrs, rated difficult. Installation notes: Will not fit Raptor models; Although rare, some models with 1-piece rear driveshaft may require rear driveshaft spacer kit to ensure sufficient spline engagement; Power steps? If your vehicle is equipped with factory power steps, it will require E-Brake Relocation Bracket. Add in configuration / checkout; Two-piece rear drive shaft? Add a carrier bearing drop kit to reduce post-lift driveline angles and avoid / eliminate driveshaft vibration; Will not fit 7 lug applications.
