BDS Suspension Recoil Traction Bar Kit, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 / 3500 HD (20-26)

Traction bars control axle wrap, the twisting of leaf springs under hard acceleration, towing or heavy loads that causes wheel hop and driveline stress. They help put power to the ground and protect drivetrain parts on leaf spring trucks.

Estimated installation time is 3-4 hrs, rated moderately easy. Installation notes: Will fit SRW; Will ONLY fit crew cab short bed (6.5ft), will NOT fit standard cab, extended cab, or models with 8ft beds Fits 0-6" of rear lift; Fits 4" Rear Axle Models Only; When combining these traction bars with a 6.5” suspension lift kit and your truck does NOT have a top mounted overload (BDS753 kit variants), 15.5” long U-bolts are provided. Longer U-bolts will be needed to install the traction bars. Please purchase UBT4200 (X4) to mount the traction bars to your vehicle.
