A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.

This part number is configured with rear lift: Light Duty Leaf Springs. Front lift: 3.5 in (leaf spring). Rear lift: 3-5 in (leaf spring). Clears tires up to 33 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 33 x 12.5 tires on 15 x 8 wheels with 3.5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 6 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: May require driveshaft lengthening for 13" (u-joint to u-joint) driveshaft; May require larger diameter driveshaft if equipped with a 41-1/2" front driveshaft; Extended shackles recommended to clear military wrap; Models with accessories like hardtop, rear tire carrier, roof rack etc., should use #004351 springs on front and rear; When combining lifted shackles with a 3.5" suspension system, a tail shaft eliminator kit and a "CV" style rear driveshaft may be required to eliminate driveline vibration; Pitman arms will NOT fit Yj models equipped with manual steering.
