A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear lift: Block Kit; shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks. Front lift: 4 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 4 in (block, leaf spring). Clears tires up to 35 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 35 x 12.5 tires on 17 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 18 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 4.5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 8 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: Removal of factory block required. Rear add a leaf is required for models equipped with factory 3-7/8" block for level to tail high stance. Single add-a-leaf kit # 113218 recommended for more level stance - Dual add-a-leaf kit # 113209 recommended for tail high stance. (Add-a-leafs do not apply to rear leaf spring equipped systems); If equipped with 2-piece driveshaft, a driveshaft alignment kit may be required; Although extremely rare, front and/or rear driveline vibration may occur; If equipped with rear sway bar, #123009 required; U-bolts will not work on dually.
