A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear lift: Block Kit; rear axle: 4 Inch Axle; shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks. Front lift: 4 in (coil spring). Rear lift: 4 in (block, leaf spring). Clears tires up to 36 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 36 x 12.5 tires on 17 x 9 wheels with 5 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 6-8 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: These vehicles were manufactured with two different diameter rear axles. You will need to measure the diameter of your rear axle before ordering. See installation instructions for details; If your Truck has had the steering gear box changed and the sector shaft diameter measures ~1-1/2"-1-5/8" you will need to add part # BDS082404 to your kit.
