A BDS Suspension lift kit raises your truck or SUV to make room for larger tires and add ground clearance, while correcting the geometry that matters for a good ride and safe handling. Each kit is engineered for the vehicle it fits, with components chosen to restore steering, driveline and suspension angles after the lift. BDS kits are offered with a choice of shock packages, so you can match the ride to how you use your vehicle, from daily driving and towing to trail and off-road use.
This part number is configured with rear shock: FOX 2.0 Performance Series Rear Shocks. Front lift: 5 in (coil-over). Rear lift: 3 in (block). Clears tires up to 35 x 12.5. Recommended tire and wheel setups: 35 x 12.5 tires on 18 x 9 wheels with 5.5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 5.5 in backspacing; 35 x 12.5 tires on 20 x 9 wheels with 6.25 in backspacing. Estimated installation time is 8 hrs, rated moderate. Installation notes: Requires frame bracket modification and welding; No strut disassembly required; Stock 18" wheels can not be installed. Factory 20" wheels with more than 6.25" backspacing can not be installed; Models with two piece rear drive line would require rear drive shaft modification; When kit is installed on 2WD models, the differential brackets will not be used; ***Will work with Bilstein (yellow) factory front struts on 2014-2015 models.***; Models equipped with 6 piston calipers will require clearance machining on the caliper near the bolt holes on the mounting surface.
