The 4L80E Triple-Disc, Bolt-Together Torque Converter is designed for durability, DIY service and stall speed changes. There?s no need to ship it back to TCI, no welding and no cutting required. Inside is a triple-disc lock-up clutch with the latest generation carbon friction material with significantly higher torque capacity than commonly found in other aftermarket converters ? more than 1,000 HP. CNC-billet construction provides increased strength over traditional stamped steel converters, while a furnace-brazed impeller and turbine and tig-brazed turbine fins add to durability.
