Red Line 50WT Drag Race Oil (15W50) is multi-grade & has detergents to improve lubricity & lower detonation, Polyol ester base stocks for stability/film strength when exposed to excess fuel dilution, & at least 2200ppm of ZDDP for antiwear.
Red Line 50WT Race Oil (15W50) is used in applications with wider bearing clearances and is popular with sprint and midget applications on methanol -- offers less frequent oil changes due to less fuel dilution. Remember to change these oils more frequently than regular motor oils. Racing oils provide more wear protection than motor oils for passenger vehicles, however, these products contain fewer detergents and are not suitable for street use.
