High-Temp Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid is for heavily-loaded vehicles that operate up to 70°F more. It has less evaporation, low volatility, less oxidation; Vis @ 100°C = 10 CSt; Vis @ 40°C = 44.9 CSt; & Viscosity Index = 220.
Red Line High-Temp Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid is like our D4 ATF, but with more viscosity for serious demands like towing and RVs. It is also for heavily-loaded vehicles, allowing operation at up to 70°F higher while maintaining thicker viscosity than traditional ATFs and is used where Dexron III, Dexron II, Mercon, or GL-4 gear oils are recommended. This formula has dramatically less evaporation, extended drain intervals, less varnish of valves and clutches in extreme conditions, and has improved thermal stability. It maintains viscosity levels and features lower volatility while providing the required frictional characteristics of each fluid's OEM-style replacement. It also has reduced oxidation and allows high-temp operation without varnishing valves and clutches. With eight different combinations of viscosity, slipperiness, and OE-recommended additives packages, Red Line offers the widest selection of ATF available.
