The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R is designed to help your cooling system operate at peak efficiency whether you're cruising to your local car meet or tearing up the track. Our thermostat begins to open 10?C earlier than the stock thermostat at 68?C (154.4?F) and is fully open 7?C earlier than stock at 83?C (181.4?F). That allows precious coolant to flow into the radiator and start shedding heat sooner. Couple this thermostat with the Mishimoto performance aluminum radiator and direct-fit oil cooler kit for a Civic Type R that runs as cool as it looks.
