Melling Performance distributor drive gears are engineered for today's powerful street and race engines, where accurate ignition timing matters. Each bronze gear is CNC machined from premium material to suit the camshaft and application, and helps reduce premature wear on the camshaft's drive gear. Choose the gear that matches your distributor shaft diameter. Sold individually and made in the USA.

Part number DG3096 fits Chevy V8 distributors with a .491 inch shaft (standard and Mallory). It has 13 teeth, a 0.491 inch (12.45 mm) inside diameter and a 1.230 inch (31.25 mm) outside diameter.
