Melling Performance distributor drive gears are engineered for today's powerful street and race engines, where accurate ignition timing matters. Each bronze gear is CNC machined from premium material to suit the camshaft and application, and helps reduce premature wear on the camshaft's drive gear. Choose the gear that matches your distributor shaft diameter. Sold individually and made in the USA.

Part number DG4745 fits big block Chrysler distributors with a .484 inch shaft, including 383, 400 and 440 engines. It has 18 teeth, a 0.484 inch (12.35 mm) inside diameter and a 1.950 inch (48.25 mm) outside diameter.
