Melling Select Performance Push Rod Length Checking Tool

The Melling push rod length checking tool helps you measure the correct push rod length during an engine build. Correct push rod length is critical to proper valvetrain geometry, especially after changing the camshaft, lifters, rocker arms or cylinder heads, or after milling the heads or block. It is especially useful on engines without adjustable valvetrains, where push rod length sets lifter preload. Measure with the checker, then order push rods to the length your combination needs. Made in the USA.

Part number MPLC100 measures push rod lengths from 6.000 to 12.000 inches, for push rods up to 0.375 inch in diameter.
