Upgrading an LS engine with a bigger camshaft and stiffer valve springs puts extra load on the factory rocker arm trunnions, and the OE needle bearings are a known weak point when pushed past stock. The Melling performance rocker arm trunnion kit replaces the factory needle bearings with C932 bronze bushings and hardened steel trunnions with a micro-polished finish for low friction and long life. Oiling channels machined into the trunnion help keep lubrication supplied at all engine speeds. It is a smart addition to any LS cam and valvetrain upgrade.
